Cameron is available to teach classes and workshops, and to design and facilitate crafts for festivals. Some of her puppets also may be rented for display or performance. Contact her for scheduling and rates (use the contact button below).

Here are some of Cameron’s classes and crafts:

Basic Batik: Learn the basics of fabric dyeing on silk or cotton using wax as a resist. Great technique for banners and costumes.

Surface Design: Go further into the art of the surface using dye, paint, discharge, silk screens, stamps, stencils, and resists to layer complex surfaces on cloth.

Silk Scarves: Make beautiful, flowing silk scarves for yourself and as gifts.

Banner Making: Make dynamic and colorful flags for parades or to decorate a special event.

Lightweight Structures for Parade Arts: Use ultralight materials to create eye-catching designs that are easy to carry or wear.

Tagboard Mask Making: Use lightweight cardboard and basic templates to create quick, easy, and fun masks for holidays, performances, or the classroom.

Lantern Making: Use simple materials to create works of art that glow from within.

See the Public Workshops page for more photos.

Cameron can design crafts for festivals and set up and operate public art booths. Crafts she has created especially for festivals include: butterfly wands, tagboard masks, tissue paper flower crowns, animated animal masks, paper bag hats, and rainbow silk wands. Contact her for more information.
